This service is for women exploring or returning to Christianity after being involved in New Age, alternative spiritualities, Eastern practices or other personal growth systems. Non-judgemental and sensitive support is offered for exploring, adopting or resuming faith-based living and following the teachings of Christ.
Great care is given to processing bad experiences with Christianity in childhood or time spent in misguided Christian groups or in other personal growth groups.
Modern Mindset: I have friends, family members and clients who are Buddhist, Atheist, Catholic, Divine Feminine and New Age. I understand the modern context and have studied different spiritual systems for many years. My aim is to offer a safe space to discuss issues arising from a possible return to Christianity.
Client-Focused: My approach is to allow clients to lead the process. I don’t have all the answers but can help explore the questions and suggest resources for further information. This is a safe and respectful space for doubt, confusion or fear to be carefully processed. Ultimately, what clients decide to do with their spirituality is their choice. However, a nonjudgmental space can be helpful in exploring whether to adopt a particular spiritual pathway or not, particularly Christianity. If you’re interested in doing a session, please contact me via my contact page.
3 Free Sessions: Although I coach/mentor women from diverse backgrounds and beliefs, Christianity as a Spiritual Path is a newer focus of my work. As such, I offer 3 free mentoring support sessions for women wanting help with the transition to a Christ-led life. I offer these initial sessions as part of my dedication to this path. Oftentimes, one session is all someone needs to achieve clarity and move forward.
Full disclosure: After 40 years of studying various spiritual, healing, psychological and alternative systems, I’ve come full circle and returned to the teachings of Christ as my spiritual path. I’m not a spiritual teacher, pastor, leader, biblical scholar or proselytiser. I’m a psychotherapist, counsellor and coach by training, though I no longer practice as a psychotherapist. Currently, I have a small online coaching/mentoring practice for women wanting to strengthen their spiritual foundation, exploring beliefs and values, commitments and integrity, purpose and meaning.
